Our Story

April 2019

Painting pet portraits and British wildlife for friends and family.

I studied art and design at school and college, so it’s always been a passion of mine.

August 2020

I came up with the name "Hare & Heather" to turn my artwork into a business. Living in the Norfolk countryside, I was often greeted by hares on my way to work, and they became part of the story. Heather followed naturally, as I draw inspiration from the countryside and have a love for heather. It just sounded perfect together!

September 2020

I loved the name Hare & Heather so much I decided to turn it into a clothing brand.

Growing up, I dreamt of owning a clothing brand - printing my artwork onto clothes with transfer paper as a teen!

April 2021

Found a local, family-run embroidery company to embroider my logo onto quarter zips.

Ordered my very first sample!

May 2021

Worked with a brilliant local photographer to shoot the quarter zips.

Launched my first pre-orders - no savings, no business experience, just passion… and you all loved them!

July 2022

Quit my day job as a microbiology lab assistant.

Moved to Shropshire with my boyfriend and went all in on Hare & Heather.

April 2023

Our very first event: the East Anglian Game & Country Fair - a show we always loved visiting when we lived in Norfolk.

It felt right to return for our debut.

August 2023

Started incorporating my artwork into the clothing designs.

First up: the Ladies Hare Print Stretch Shirt.

September 2023

Applied for a trademark for our solo hare logo.

Sadly, a major company disputed it, which delayed our plans for product expansion.

April 2024

Launched Agriflect®- a new chapter in our journey.

July 2024

Made our debut at The Game Fair at Blenheim Palace - a dream come true!

We met so many of you (and yes, we’re back again in 2025!)

January 2025

After months of work, we developed a new logo and submitted it for trademark then kept our fingers and toes crossed!

April 2025

A new era of Hare & Heather will soon be here
